Clifton Cricket Club have only been members of the Central Lancashire League since 2006. They restored the league to sixteen teams, after Stand's departure for 2005 left the league with blank fixtures. Clifton's professional for 2006 is Chinthaka Umesh Jayasinghe of Sri Lanka.
