Walsden Cricket Club were founder members of the Central Lancashire League. Walsden is part of Todmorden, which historically contained the Lancashire-Yorkshire boundary, making Walsden legitimately part of Lancashire. Since then, Walsden has become part of the administrative county of West Yorkshire. They are now unique, as the only CLL club based in Yorkshire.
